    Job Description:


    – 5-10 years of experience in Business development

    – ~4 years of exhaustive hands-on BD experience with an Ecommerce agency / IT services company



    This is a Hybrid role and will be based out of our Delhi office.



    The BD specialist will have to co-ordinate and work with clients from US, EU, and India, so the working hours will have to overlap with all three time zones.



    8-10 LPA (depends on experience and expertise)



    · Develop and build business: Should have hands-on experience in developing and building business for global (US, EU, UK) ecommerce/IT/web-development service provider agencies and consultancies. Candidate should be able to utilize their expertise to identify and pursue new business opportunities, establish relationships with potential clients, and convert leads into long-term partnerships.


    · Relationship building and maintenance: Cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential clients to generate repeat business. Engage in regular communication, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to drive customer satisfaction and retention.

    · Exceed monthly sales quota: As an Outbound Sales – Business Development Specialist, they will be responsible for achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets. Their focus will be on generating new business for Scoop Global (a full-service new-age Ecommerce consultancy).


    · Contact potential clients and arrange meetings: Proactively reach out to potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking events. Establish rapport, introduce our services, and arrange meetings to further discuss their business requirements.


    · Plan and execute new business development initiatives: Develop a strategic approach to identify and target new business opportunities. Plan and execute effective sales strategies to expand our client base and drive revenue growth.


    Research and identify new business development opportunities: Conduct thorough research on organizations and individuals within the ecommerce industry to identify potential business development opportunities. Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market developments to capitalize on emerging opportunities.


    · Increase the value of current customers and attract new ones: Work closely with the existing customer base to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Leverage their knowledge of our services to present clients with additional solutions that enhance their ecommerce operations. Simultaneously, focus on attracting new clients by showcasing our value proposition and addressing their pain points.


    · Find and develop new markets and improve sales: Identify new markets and niche segments within the ecommerce industry to expand our market reach. Develop sales strategies and penetrate these markets to increase sales volume and market share.


    · Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events: Actively participate in relevant virtual conferences, meetings, and industry events to expand professional network and promote Scoop Global 's services. Utilize these opportunities to build relationships, generate leads, and stay informed about industry trends.


    · Develop quotes and proposals: Collaborate with the internal team to develop customized quotes and proposals for clients. Present these proposals to potential clients, highlighting the value and benefits of our services.


    · Develop goals for business growth and ensure they are met: Work closely with the management team to develop realistic goals for business growth. Monitor progress regularly, analyze sales data, and take necessary actions to ensure goals are met or exceeded.


    Must-have skills:

    · Proven track record in outbound sales (International) and business development, preferably within the ecommerce industry or related IT/web-development consultancies.

    · Strong hands-on experience in developing and building business for ecommerce service provider agencies.

    · Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and exceed sales targets consistently.

    · Excellent communication (English, verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and build long-lasting relationships.

    · Proactive and self-motivated with a strong drive for results and exceeding expectations.

    · Solid understanding of the ecommerce industry, market trends, and competitors.

    · Ability to conduct market research, identify potential clients, and uncover business development opportunities.

    · Experience in attending industry events, conferences, and networking events to expand professional connections.

    · Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

    · Proficiency in creating quotes, proposals, and presentations.

    · Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
